I wrote the wedding vows last night..they are really wonderful, I can only hope they will like them...but it is all open..there is nothing set in stone..
I went to the funeral of my dear co-worker Donnie Wood...what a wonderful man he was..
he lived life to the fullest...and was truly the nicest person I have ever worked with in 11 years with Walmart...he touched with such kindness everyone he met...we met his wonderful family..of 3 sisters who adored their brother...and many other relatives also..
they said..he was the one who invented April Fools day..was a silly fun practical joker too..
when his father died 9 years ago, he told him mother he would take care of her..and he has since that day..she is in the hospital now..not doing too well..we can hold her up in prayer...
there were tears and smiles...laughter and lots of hugs today...he will surely be missed..
I told him as I looked as him...to enjoy his journey...and one day we would meet again..
my son Alex and about 50+ other co-Walmart workers were there today..from the store mgr
to the co mgrs to several assist mgrs..and the whole produce team..as he worked in produce, cashiers, food people, clothing people, toys, garden center, sporting goods, baker/deli...office workers..people from all over our store...were there as we celebrated Donnie back to spirit..back home...was just a nice tributing service.
