Hey...
wow it's been a long time...but I thought I would post again...time has been my friend..
It's always interesting to see how things effect me..in my reactions...as I at this point of my life try to not give into my first initial feelings...but to let the world around me..flow...as it touches me and my life...I enjoy the little things..and leave a lot more of those things..over there...finally.
I am soo enjoying this new dog in our lives..I don't know if Alex can have her...she sleeps with us..and she is my big new baby...this beautiful white/blonde small Lab..so far..although she seems to be getting bigger n bigger every day..as we loosen her collar..we can really see it. lol
her name is Peppers..as my Lilly named her..the first time she saw her...she is such a love.
and the dachhounds love her too now...even Gohan our white cat seems to like her too..most of the time.lol..it is funny how Dale really likes this dog...we will start to take her lots more places now so she can meet the world...and enjoy meeting new peoples.
I just found out tonight..that Phillip Morris..the big cigarette plant in our town..that closed down last summer..09..has sold the property..buildings...all to a Movie/Television Company...as I met the man who is in charge of the demolition of anything to do with cigarettes part of it all..the buildings will stay in tact..with all the electric/plumbing/etc...but all the cigarette machines will be taken out...there is 1200 acres of land..they are talking of a Movie Studio..a Television Studio..a Music Recording Studio...an Electric Car Manufacturing area...and a teaching/education area also...and a big WaterPark...so..that is sooo awesome..what a great thing to come into our town...and about 3 miles from my home......will create many jobs..
I am feeling a peace tonight I haven't felt for a while...even through this toothache..have to take Mom to the dr. in the morning as a new med she was on..gave her some hives or something on her leg...the med was for pain..as she hurt her back recently stubborningly lifting some gallons of water....they may have to do an mri on her to see what is going on..she has had so much pain this past week...and at 79 she doesn't need that..
I am so glad to be off for the next 2 1/2 days..whoo hooo...after 5 days there, the break is so great....I'm not sure how much more we can handle without more employees...so many are being so pushed to their limits...and it's not fair...not for really good employees..who have loved their jobs for so long...do more with less..the new corporate motto...for many companies...
seems to be all about money..even for companies like this who make so much anyway...but we have to remember..there is a huge plan ..we can see it all yet...as God and the Universe can...we can only see parts of the puzzle...not all of it..so we must always try to recognize what we're grateful for as we have some negative thoughts...it can change our whole day..and is soo possible....Christmas is right around the corner..and I love Christmas season no matter what..
this time last year we were anxiously awaiting for Cherylee to get here from Australia and spend that month with us..oh what fun that was...what fun..as we traveled to OK to see another friend of ours..Ethel..with our other friend Kat...in a beautiful car we rented...a Buick LeSern
oh I want one of those...wonderful car...loaded too..lol..we met up with Jimmie too in Charleston.and talked to many along the way...Cheryl spent Christmas with my family n I too...we saw..the move..New Moon..and Avatar...what fun..we even saw it twice..lol..
We do get our Lilly this Thanksgiving and I actually have it off..thank you Shaunte...it's the first Thanksgiving with our Lilly..will be at Donna's and I'm to bring..my famous mashed potatoes..and my famous salsa n chips...we def have all the fixins..you can imagine..and we'll go there on Christmas day too..as we always do..what fun...nice family time...
well I'll get off here for now..and write some more tomorrow...I can't believe I got my password right to get back into this blog lol..
